Ted Lasso is a great show! Has kind of a Schitt’s Creek vibe— no need to be snarky in service of comedy. But I must admit some of the dialog goes right by this American ear. Not just the British, but I’ve missed a few of Ted’s lines too.
Can't wait to try your PB Cornflake Krispies treats, what a great idea. I have fond memories of rice krispies treats... school not so much, but rice krispies yes. Don't feel bad people send you free stuff, you're worth it! I would never have heard of Lakeland had you not mentioned it. How kind of them! Makes me want to get one to make gelato too. And I've never seen Ted Lasso, but what a great story premise. Hope you get more sunny days, you deserve more sun.
I am not sure if you knew, but your PB Cornflake Krispies are essentially an American classic, the Scotcharoo! Although more typically made with Rice Krispies, but basically the same! Also brings me back to childhood bake sales - always a favorite.
I read that only we Yanks liked Ted Lasso. I'm glad someone east of the pond does too. And don't think the Lakeland gift was entirely free; they got a celebrity (at least in my book) endorsement!
